Hoot Host builds your website at no cost as part of our Free Website plan. In exchange, your site is hosted on our platform for $15 per month, which covers managed hosting, security, technical support as needed, and a free account to our simple CRM and marketing platform HootBiz. There are no separate design or build fees.
What is the average timeline to completion?
We complete most websites in 2-3 weeks. However, some website projects may take up to 30 business days to complete.
How many design revisions do I get?
Free Website plans are limited to 1 design option. We build your website in our proprietary website builder platform that comes with a professional and optimized website theme that we customize for your business. We make the design and development process a complete collaboration with you, customizing the website to your brand’s colors, fonts, and style. This ensures the website best represents your business.
What if I need more pages or additional functionality?
The Free Website plan is limited to up to 5 basic content pages, a blog, and basic functionality. Check out our higher-level website plans if you need additional features.
Do I get forms?
Absolutely! Forms and similar basic website functionality options are included.
Can I manage website updates myself?
Yes! We include a basic backend system in our proprietary website platform which allows you to make content updates, image changes, publish blogs, and similar basic management.
What if I need more advanced updates or add-ons?
For needs beyond your plan, our team offers one-time add-on services to help you scale your website — from advanced updates and new features to major changes or full redesigns. All covered by our affordable maintenance and management rates and can be purchased in the Member Dashboard.

What does Hoot do after the site is launched?
Most website projects are completed and launched in under 30 business days. From the date of launch, Hoot Host continues to manage basic website needs including: domain renewal, managed website hosting, and technical support when requested. For website updates or related done-for-you services, see our add-on packages.
Can I use my existing domain?
Absolutely! If you are looking to redesign your existing website, you can keep your existing domain. We also offer a free domain option hoot.page/mybusiness. Plus, if you transfer your existing domain to Hoot Host, you’ll receive free domain renewal while still maintaining complete ownership!
Can I request a certain platform or template?
No. Free Website plans are developed in our proprietary website builder platform. The Free Website plan includes 1 design option and limited functionality features.
Can I move my website to another hosting company if I ever want to cancel my Hoot Host plan?
No. Free Website plans are developed in our proprietary website builder platform. It does not allow the website to be moved to another hosting company, and the design/code cannot be exported or moved off our platform.
Is there a contract?
No! We do not hold our customers to any contract terms. You can cancel at any time. Note that since your website is hosted as part of the $15/month plan, canceling hosting will take your site offline. Read our complete terms and conditions here.
